Hello Fast Parts® Users!

I just got back from the most successful Car-Part Industry Conference ever, and if you were not there you missed a great learning experience. While many of the recyclers were in class learning information about the changes in our industry, others were getting one-on-one instruction about new products hot off the Car-Part think tank assembly line. Not a moment was wasted and the expert panel discussions helped all of us learn new techniques to make our businesses better. The discussion of the all-aluminum Ford F-150 repair procedures helped me understand the unique issues that the recyclers will have when these vehicles start showing up in our yards next year. Many manufacturers will have aluminum vehicles in the near future, and the recyclers who were at the conference and were able to study the new procedures will have a head start on all you no-shows! Next year, don't hesitate to register for the Car-Part Industry Conference in advance. Give me a call and I will let you know what I found out last week.

Another hot topic at the conference was the eCommerce selling tools that are sweeping the country, including Car-Part Pro. I found that Car-Part Pro customers who are brokering vendors' parts on their sites are making more sales. By showing more parts on the internet searches, you're helping new customers find your parts easier. It just makes sense that if you are showing your inventory of used parts on the internet and you add aftermarket and new parts to your list of parts available, you will get more calls which will result in more sales. I believe this one feature of the Car-Part Gold program can result in giving your business the boost it needs to go to the next level. While at the conference, we had classes on how to use many of our money making add-on programs like Partmate.
