Hello Fast Parts® Users!

Big news at Fast Parts this week! As you know, your Fast Parts system is nearing "end of life status," meaning that we will discontinue full support of your system in the near future. Give me a call and I will explain what effect that will have on your Fast Parts service. The Good News is that the all-new Checkmate system will replace the Fast Parts system at little or no cost to you. The Big News is that for a limited time, Checkmate is offering an extra day of training, making it 3 days of on-site training, at no cost to you! To help with updating your equipment, we will also give you a one-time credit of $100, and there will be no charge on our connecting software, AlphaCom (a $25 per license value). There are some other great incentives if you call me soon for details, but all these offers are for a limited time! There are just a few recyclers left using the Fast Parts system, and the cost of supporting so few systems is very expensive. That's why the monthly fee is increasing starting in November. Let me show you how to reduce your fees and get the best inventory system that will meet your needs. It is important that we talk soon.

Those of you who are trying to improve your parts sales without buying more vehicles may want to try Brokering on Car-Part.com. Brokering aftermarket parts and forming buying alliances with other auto recyclers will keep your profits up without investing in more inventory. Doing business the old way doesn't cut it any longer. Car-Part has designed programs to help you stay competitive. Brokering parts is a great way to increase your inventory online without investing in more physical inventory. Another way to increase profit is by selling more parts off the vehicles you already have. I think Car-Part has the answer to this also. CrashLink identifies more parts on your vehicles, giving you additional interchange information so you can sell those smaller parts that you may not have made available for sale in the past. The same diagrams the body shops and mechanics use are available to you in CrashLink. This gives you a much better understanding of which smaller parts they need in addition to your major parts. I have been calling many of you over the last few months telling you about the Car-Part Salvage program. Hundreds of you have signed up to buy vehicles with this program. Everyone likes the all-inclusive offer which includes our low buyer's fee, and the fact that only recyclers are allowed to make offers on these vehicles. We continue to find more sources for vehicles, and the volume of cars and trucks are growing by leaps and bounds. I have had many compliments on how easy it is to buy vehicles with Car-Part Salvage. You may not know this, but you can sell vehicles as well as buy vehicles with this program. So if you get a vehicle that does not fit your business model, you can put it in the sale with no fees. This program does not cost anything to join, and you only pay a small fee if your offer is accepted. There is no good reason not to call me about signing up for Car-Part Salvage.
