April 2017
Hello Fast Parts® Users!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the business owners who called me last month about converting from Fast Parts to the all-new Checkmate system. Your questions and comments were outstanding. You kept me busy answering questions and on many occasions I had to go to the Checkmate conversion team for help researching the answer. I think you will agree that the conversion process is well thought out. With the hundreds of conversions already done, most issues have answers ready to apply. As we discussed in our conversations, if your Fast Parts hardware crashes you could get caught without a quick fix and the conversion to Checkmate will be the only answer. Don't wait for that fire drill. Convert now so you can take your time learning the system and all the new options that are available with Checkmate.

The all-new Checkmate system will replace the "end of life" Fast Parts system at little or no cost to you. The best part of this change is that for a limited time, Checkmate is offering an extra day of training (making it 3 total days of on-site training) at no cost to you! There will be no charge on our connecting software, AlphaCom (a $25 per license value). There are some other great incentives if you call me soon for details, but all these offers are for a limited time and that time is just about over! There are just a very few recyclers left using the Fast Parts system, and the cost of supporting so few systems is very expensive. That's why the monthly fee was increased in November. Let me show you how to reduce your monthly fees and get the newest interchange information. You must pay for copyrighted interchange and support, so why not get the newest information and best support in the industry by converting to Checkmate. Make the time so we can discuss all your options available for making this positive change.

I know you have seen part images on the site. With the Checkmate system, you can put pictures of your parts online, giving you that increased exposure that recyclers have been asking for. Also, brokering aftermarket parts and forming buying alliances with other auto recyclers will keep your profits up without investing in more inventory. Car-Part has designed programs to help you stay competitive. Brokering parts is a great way to increase your inventory online without investing in more physical inventory. Another way to increase profit is by selling more parts off the vehicles you already have. I think Car-Part has the answer to this also. CrashLink can identify more parts on your vehicles, giving you additional interchange information so you can sell those smaller parts that you may not have made available for sale in the past. The same diagrams the body shops and mechanics use are available to you in CrashLink. This gives you a much better understanding of which smaller parts they need in addition to your major parts. When you sell major components, most likely there are smaller parts you could add to your sale. Those sales are pure profit, and make a big difference in your profit margin. Get in touch with me and we can go over how CrashLink can help you.

If you are one of the few Fast Parts users who have not had a chance to talk with me, I will be calling you again and again until we have that conversation. You can help by calling me when you have time to talk. I look forward in helping you find the perfect computer program for your recycling business.
