New Features in Checkmate 2019R1
|

Checkmate 2019R1 has been released! Eligible Checkmate customers were sent emails in recent weeks with information about how to update.
We're changing the way we refer to our version numbers, to make it easier for you to understand how current your Checkmate software is. From now on, we'll be numbering each Checkmate build as a combination of the year and the release. 2019's first release = 2019R1
Checkmate 2019R1 includes an interchange update and software enhancements. The most exciting piece is Car-Part Interchange Plus parts: new and enhanced interchange for over 100 parts (the interchange data includes 2009+ Mitsubishi models, and 2015+ Mazda models!).
We also added a lot of new features to the Checkmate user interface based on recycler requests. Here are some of the most-requested:

Accounting - Print Receipt for Payment
When you accept a back office payment, a new checkbox on the Back Office Payments window lets you print a receipt for the payment.

The receipt shows the account and payment information, and the documents that the payment was applied to.

Sales Pro
Find Tab - Save Advanced Part Search Option
In Sales Pro's Find tab, the Research section has a Search Parts field that helps you search for parts. If you click the drop-down arrow, the Advanced Part Search opens with several options for you to search by. In Checkmate 2019R1, you can now save your favorite option so that it is the default for the Search Parts field. For example, if you frequently search by Stock #, just check the checkbox next to Stock #. This will be saved as the default search option for the Search Parts field.

Whenever you want to use a different option, it's easy! Just click the drop-down arrow to open the Advanced Part Search panel and search as usual using the field of your choice (there's no need to uncheck the box for your saved option).

Parts Tab - View and Copy Part History
On the Parts tab, you can view part history information by selecting the part and clicking the History button. Now, you can copy this information by right-clicking anywhere in the window. Then, you can paste that information into another program (like a spreadsheet).

Plus, we added a History tab to the Editing Part window.
|
Extra Sale - Print Alternate Vehicle Parts
When you're creating an extra sale for an item that isn't in your inventory, Checkmate automatically displays your VUCs for similar years and models. In 2019R1, you can print this list of alternate vehicles with the new printer icon button.

Quotes Tab - Edit Core Info
In Sales Pro, core information can now be edited on quotes. Just click on the Core or Core Amt field. When the Core Selection window opens, you can change the Core Type and Core Price. When you're finished, click Accept.
