With the coronavirus (COVID-19) affecting communities, families, and people around the world, this is a difficult time for all of us. Our hearts go out to all those who have been affected. At Car-Part.com, our priority is the health and well-being of our employees and customers. That's why we have taken steps to help lessen the potential impact of COVID-19 on our communities and our business. We have moved our entire workforce to working remotely. We have also instructed our sales and support teams not to visit customers in person at this time. In accordance with our pandemic response plan, we are minimizing physical requirements at our data centers, and increasing our virtual/remote capabilities.
Our employees are instructed to follow Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations, and we encourage our customers to do the same. The CDC has also posted guidelines specifically for businesses, here.
State and Provincial Orders
Several states in the United States and provincial governments across Canada are implementing orders which require certain businesses to cease operations for a period of time to combat COVID-19. Most of these orders contain provisions which allow certain businesses to continue to operate. To help automotive recyclers navigate these orders, we have compiled this guide.
