All training will be held at The Drawbridge Inn in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. Our special "Car-Part discount rate" is only $55/night (plus tax) - remember to ask for our rate when you call! If you are flying, the Drawbridge offers a free shuttle service from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport (CVG) to the hotel, which is just seven miles away. If you are driving, the hotel is located off I-75 only a few miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio, off of exit 186 (Buttermilk Pike).

Customize your Search Results with Filters
Fine-tune the way your inventory is displayed

Filters are a valuable way to customize which prices and parts appear when you search your inventory and to customize the way those prices and parts appear. Filters allow you to not only adjust the way inventory information is displayed in your search results but to designate which information is displayed at all.

Some of the more popular filters allow you to adjust which prices are displayed in the results of a search. There are several options here; these adjustments can include percent markups/markdowns, fixed dollar markups/markdowns, or a combination of the two. These options can be applied to wholesale prices, retail prices, or both. You can define the price adjustments depending on how your parts are searched, whether on your website, in data feeds, or with Trading Partners. Sometimes there are parts you want to show to your trading partners, but you want to customize what information they can see. With price filters, you also have the option of hiding all prices from all of your trading partners.

Other price filters allow you to remove the cents from your price fields or round them up to the next dollar, which may be helpful if you use your cents as a date code. You can change the retail price to "$call" for parts priced under a certain amount (or for all parts, if you want). You can also change the retail price to "$call" for parts with a certain price. For example, you may have an inventory person who does not regularly price parts, or who wants to indicate that a part is part of a complete front. He or she may price these parts for $9,999 so your salespeople know that they must re-price the part. In this example, all parts that are priced at $9,999 can be changed to "$call."

There are also several filters that aren't related to price. You can hide the mileage of parts with a high mileage, hide parts in a certain location, hide certain part types, remove descriptions from your parts, and/or cut the descriptions off after a certain number of characters. You can also mark every part in your inventory as aftermarket or hide parts in a certain category. For example, you could hide all the parts categorized as a "yard" part.
