New Feature in Photomate:
Add Parts Straight from Your Phone! Today, a new version of the Photomate mobile app will be released! With this new version, you can add a part to your Photomate workflow directly from your smartphone, using your phone's camera! Photomate is our new mobile app that makes it fast and easy to take photos of your inventory. Your customers can see these photos online, and your salespeople can see these photos in Checkmate.
Previously, parts could only be assigned to Photomate from within Checkmate Sales Pro. Now, with this new feature, you can add parts to Photomate directly from your phone or tablet! All you have to do is scan the part tag (using your camera). This saves you time, and can be done right outside in the yard.
It's easy to add parts directly to Photomate from your phone with this new feature. Here's how it works: |
3. View the parts you've scanned to Photomate by tapping the Scanned Parts button. |
The rest of your Photomate workflow is the same as normal! You can now open this part and begin taking photos. Already have Photomate? If you haven't already updated your Photomate application on your mobile device, now would be a great time to do it, so you can take advantage of this new feature! Checkmate Workstation will automatically prompt you for an update to your Checkmate Rest Server (CMRS), and you must accept that update in order to use the new version of Photomate.
