- Photomate is available only as part of the Advanced Partmate package.
- iPhone 8 or above or an Android phone. The phone must have an operational camera.
- Photomate has been certified on the following mobile operating systems: iOS: 14.x.x and above. Android: 9.x.x and above.
- Photomate is not compatible with a Windows XP Checkmate server.
- A 64-bit device is required. Photomate is not certified on 32-bit Android devices, although it may be compatible with some.
Note: Performance may vary based on your specific mobile device. Please report any performance issues to your Checkmate Support Representative.
If you are considering purchasing a new mobile device for use with Photomate, please keep in mind that future enhancements may require auto-focus capability.
Some users prefer to use an external barcode scanner for greater flexibility in scanning tags. If you prefer an external scanner, we recommend a mobile Bluetooth barcode scanner.
Minimum requirements:
- Support for your iOS or Android system
- Bluetooth and Serial communication
- Support for your barcode type (1D and/or 2D)
- Minimum 9-hour operating time
- Minimum 25 foot range
